A captain may claim but one ship, and no more.
A captain must command a crew, for a ship without hands is adrift in the void.
A crew must honor their captain, as a ship must honor its helm.
The title of captain may be fairly challenged in a duel to the death. The victor claims ship and crew.
Three captains together may place a bounty upon any soul.
The same three captains who placed a bounty, may withdraw it, but only by unanimous accord.
Should all three captains who placed a bounty perish, the bounty is no more.
A bounty, once placed, must be honored by all who sail the void.
The marked may call for a trial by the three captains who placed the bounty upon them.
A trial, once called, must be held and its verdict honored.
To rise against one’s captain without fair duel is mutiny, and mutiny is a breaking of the Code.
To break the Code is to invoke Karman Law.
No captain nor crew shall strike a bargain with the voidspawn, for they seek only ruin.
No ship shall fire upon another without cause, lest they invoke Karman Law.
Plunder taken is plunder shared; a crew who does not share spoils is no crew at all.
A ship abandoned is a ship claimed. A coward who flees their ship forfeits all rights to it.
A duel called must be met, but a duel refused is a duel lost.
A captain slain in fair duel surrenders their ship and command; none shall seek vengeance for a death by the Code.
No soul may be taken as cargo; slavery is the trade of cowards and tyrants.
No bounty may be placed in falsehood; a liar’s bounty turns upon them thrice over.
A ship in distress must be given aid, unless they be foe or false.
A meeting of captains is sacred; to break the peace at parley is to invoke Karman Law.

Rules for pirates? Yup.
Turns out "do whatever
you want" didn't work out so great. Apparently even
chaos needs a user
manual.
